Sean's Crew is at it again...

The Peabody Patch is starting to blow up with comments and there appears to be a new Peabody Mayor Race blog that is 100% support Sean. Sounds like his website peabodymayor. Only three weeks to go and it looks like there is some desperation to manipulate perception of his like ability. It also appears the new blogger is a college student based on the comments. Who know's people, but it is starting to smell fishy in the dark city. Looks like Seans pit bull has a little competition for his masters attention...

    What is wrong with Sean using the Patch to get his name out there? BobCroce does it too and you don't criticize him. I think it is smart for both of them to use the Patch to get their message out. This is about telling voters where you stand, right? Sean you are doing the right thing do not let these people bring you down.

    I totally agree. All this ridiculous arguing has gone over the top. and frankly, whoever is posting these attacks about the college student is making bettencourt look kind of bad.

    I'm not a Sean fan, but I think it's great that Jaclyn is going all out to support her candidate. It's great to see young people get involved like this. Hell, most kids her age don't even vote!

    As a person in the middle. I just looked at your site and its title does give the impression that you are not biased but reading your material it is apparent that you are in fact campaigning for Sean. Does this blog here lean a little? Yes. But it really allows for discussion of what is going on. Yours is strictly pro-Sean. I am not sure what group PP is for. Seems to like Bettencourt and not like McGenney...It appears that they are judging on each person independently which is fine. I disagree with a lot of their comments.

    BTW Jaclyn. If you want to enter politics and bloging you need to develop a thick skin. Its the real world and it is not all sweet and nice...You are young and based on your responses this is something that you will learn when you are dealing with the real world of life. Some people are not nice. BUT it is how YOU handle them that maters more than how they act towards you. You coming on here and challenging the blogger is a little silly...

    To anonymous thank u for your advice. Perhaps you are not aware of the conversations that pp and I have had in the past and even if you are I don't appreciate being patronized. It takes a lot more guts to say things with ur real name then to hide behind The dark cloud of anonymity

    OG says...speaking as an anonymous participant I have to agree with Ms Corriveau. Personally the issue is not with your age or your gender but simply that fact that any candidate can and should use whatever media and communication vehicles they have at their disposal...makes perfect sense to do so....so I am really puzzled why this irritates some on here....because it clearly should not....if PP promote Teflon Ted on this site that he manages why can't you use the Patch to promote your guy?r

    OG she's uses a blog page that is generic and it comes across as unbiased. I don't think PP portrays he love or hate of the candidates. Most of the topics on here are to do with city issues that come up in the papers.

    I have concerns that this is coming up three weeks prior to the election too. Where was she long ago. Damian seems to have eased off on Sean's page and now she is promoting independent blog but it is really a fan page for Sean? Confusing

    BTW if PP was so hateful towards her why hasn't just deleted this? I am curious what the other words she has had. I have not seen her before and you remember the pretty ones...

    So I am finally home from a long day of work and I see that there has been some bantering going on. Let me say that first before last night I have never heard of this woman so I am not sure what she means that we have gone at it...

    Secondly, please don't feel free to promote your blog without asking first. If you are going to give me attitude for making a post about something that was going on in Peabody AKA the Peabody Patch then feel free to make a comment about what was going on in general. But if you want to lash out at me and then use me to spring board people over to your sight then you have a lot to learn.

    Lastly, if you are calling me a coward because I do not reveal myself to everyone then I suppose you think that Ben Franklin and many others thru history were cowards to when they did something very similar.

    I have been lashed at in the past and I have no problem with the feedback but if you want to give it then you need to be able to take it. Welcome to the fun world of blogging. I hope we can work past our differences and help make Peabody a better place to live!

    OG says...alright you two...let's get back to the issues at hand....we are in the home stretch and OG has a profound question....what do either Teflon Ted or Sean Fitz have to do to become the next Mayor of Dark City? if you were Ted's campaign mgr what is your advice to him? if you were Sean's campaign mgr what is your advice to him? what are the keys to victory for each candidate? go ahead....I am all ears....can't wait to see the responses on this one...

    Jaclyn, I don't know you nor do I need to know you. I'm happy to see a young voter choosing to publicly support the candidate of her choice. Being a political science major in school, you should take an interest in the goings on of both local and national politics. Hopefully, you will become an active player yourself in the near future and try to make a difference in your government.
    PP, you may have deleted her post that advertises her blog, but her other posts are done under her REAL NAME which is a link to her page and through that, a link to her blog. She's the only one here that I can see that uses her real name - and that includes you as well as me. At least she isn't intimidated by anyone here.
    To the rest of you, WTF? Get a life! This young lady cares enough about who she is supporting that she decides to create a blog page to help build support and you knock her for it??? Why? Just because she is supporting Sean? Do you think that she is the only person out there that is supporting Sean? Perhaps somebody should put up a blog in support of Ted. In fact, Ted and Sean should each put up their own blog sites to garner support for their respective campaigns.
    Like most, I haven't yet completely decided who
    I will cast my vote for. I'm slightly more impressed with Ted than Sean more because of what he doesn't say. He doesn't claim to have the so-called "experience" that Sean seems to think he has. Fact is, neither one of them has any experience as Mayor. Neither did Bonfanti, Torigian, Mavroules and probably any other candidate for Mayor in the past. Torigian had experience within the city council. So does Ted. Sean may have worked in several capacaties with the mayor, but Ted is actually a PART of the local government. Being a town manager makes Sean a part of that government. So they both have the same kind of non-experience to boast about. People don't like the fact that Ted is a lawyer, but who are the people who make the laws? LAWYERS! Who is best at interperting the laws? LAWYERS! Looks to me like Ted has a leg up in that area.
    I still have time to make up my mind and when I do, the vote I cast will be for the one I think is best for the city. Though the winner will be the most popular one, for sure. Good luck to both candidates.
