New Found Money in Schools

So what does everyone think of this?  Does this demonstrate poor planning of our previous Superintendent or their Business Manager? Could there be holes like this in the city budget as well?

    I hope this search committee reads this article and makes sure the person they are looking for has a skill set that can break apart the budget like the temporary superintendent just did. I find this very embarrassing that the current group could not figure out some of this stuff.

    This blog has no teeth. I actually liked the Tanner and the online drama that went with it. Many new and interesting views were put up for discussion and lots of people participated.

    Simply copying stories from the other news entities is a weak way to create debate. I already miss the tanner site and it's only been a day. I used to look forward to arriving at my desk in work to read the articles and the comments, this just stinks.

    Thanks for the input. Please understand I just started this the other day and it will be a work in progress. As I have mentioned, I am very open to feedback and ideas on the blog. I want this blog to be for everyone. That being said, my goal is to get away from all the BS and childish comments and start to get in the mindset that we can make effective change through discussion. Maybe stop a lot of the BS that goes on in City Hall and act as a watchdog for Peabody's future leaders. I am so tired of hearing everyone knows what is going on but everyone is to afraid to speak up. I am not afraid to speak up if there is fact.
